School District No. 67 is located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in the interior of British Columbia, Canada. The school district is centered around the cities of Penticton and Summerland . The area population is about 60,000 living around two picturesque bodies of water (Lake Okanagan and Skaha Lake), with a world-class ski resort at Apex Mountain a mere half hour’s drive.  An abundance of sunshine makes the Okanagan a very popular tourist destination, famous for its wines, vineyards, orchards, great summer and winter recreational activities including golf, winter sports, triathlon, and much more. We also boast excellent schools. There are many benefits for students to come to the Okanagan Skaha district.  Okanagan Skaha is a perfect-sized community.  Small enough for students to be safe and independent, while still having all the amenities students need for a wonderful study abroad experience with amazing recreational activities in all 4 seasons. The small number of international students (1% Rule – SD67 limits the number of International students from each country to 1% of the student population of the school) accelerates English acquisition.
All of their schools provide high-quality academic and elective programming, resulting in one of the highest graduation rates in British Columbia. The schools offer Modern, well-equipped classrooms, science labs, libraries, art studios, trade shops, culinary facilities, and gymnasiums, which all have wireless access.
An exciting selection of academic and elective courses, including Advanced Placement courses, trades training, and award-winning performing and visual arts programs.
A full range of enriching extracurricular activities, such as athletics, school clubs, and student leadership activities.
