Our students enjoy the cultural experience they gain from the interaction with international students. Their teachers enjoy bringing the culture of the international students into their classroom to help enrich the classroom discussion. Amman is located only 15 minutes Southeast of Idaho Falls, which is Idaho’s second-largest city. Hillcrest High School is located in Ammon, Idaho which Is near Yellowstone National Park, Grand Targhee National Park, Ski Resorts, Snake River, and close to Salt Lake City. Idaho Falls is well known throughout the region for its access to the outdoors. Art and culture can also be found in Idaho Falls at places like The Art Museum, and the Museum of Idaho. Surrounding the city, world-renowned places to visit like Yellowstone National Park and Jackson Hole for world-class skiing make Idaho Falls an international hub for adventure.

The school is known for good athletic teams. They won the State Championship in Football in 2018. Summers are long, warm, and wet. Winters are freezing, dry, and windy. It is partly cloudy year-round.
