Miami Arts Charter School is a public charter school offering a rigorous college-preparatory academic curriculum and conservatory-style training in the visual and performing arts.

Sports

The Physical Education program is designed to provide the student with the rules, skills, and concepts of team sports. The team sports covered are volleyball, football, basketball, soccer, and baseball. In addition, the student is evaluated in fifteen different physical tests involving jumping, running, and exercises each quarter.
The student is evaluated on improving their scores as they become stronger, faster, and more athletic over the course of the year. The goal of the class is to improve the student’s lifestyle and health through sports and exercise.
