Ranked in the top seven school districts in Florida for reading, math, and science, Brevard County School District offers students opportunities in academic, technical, and career-centered curricula. At Heritage High School, students can choose from advanced STEM, dual enrollment, Environmental Studies Academy, Sports Medicine Academy, the Cambridge AICE diploma program, and more. Built-in 2009, Heritage High School’s 65-acre campus is located on the East coast of central Florida. The modern facilities feature some of the latest classroom technologies, covered outdoor terraces, and extensive athletic facilities. Students can compete in sports such as American football and golf. Many students compete each year in State Championship Competitions. The school’s comprehensive arts program offers courses such as studio art, theater, and pottery.
The choir at Heritage was named a Disney Honor Choir in 2015. Brevard County is home to destinations such as the Kennedy Space Center, Port Canaveral, 72 miles of beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches, and the largest collection of endangered wildlife and plants in the continental United States. Students can ride an hour by car to Orlando, home to famous theme parks such as Disney World and Universal Studios.
