Delta

Delta School District has 31 schools in three communities only 30 minutes from Vancouver.   Delta has National Award-winning teachers (Prime Minister’s Awards) and the graduation rate is consistently among the top in BC. School district staff run and monitor the homestay program personally (they don’t out-source to private homestay companies). Delta staff also run monthly sightseeing activities. They have continuous entry so students can start at any time all year long.  There are traditional schools with uniforms and elite academies in dance, film/acting, golf, hockey, baseball, and soccer. Delta has French Immersion Programs and over 100 elective courses that range from Architecture and Law to Engineering and Musical Theatre. All schools are well-equipped and modern, with wireless technology, laptop computer carts, and extensive libraries. Secondary schools have professional theatres, modern science laboratories, updated computer rooms, wood/metal shops, and auto mechanical facilities. Delta has large playing fields with a variety of sports facilities. There are over 650 international students from 29 countries.
