Worth School is home to the Adventurers of the future course, designed for 9-14-year-olds. This center is situated in the beautiful West Sussex countryside in the South East of England, close to the town of Crawley and within easy reach of the beautiful seaside and vibrant city of Brighton. London’s Gatwick and Heathrow airports are easily accessible by road.


Worth School, a loyal partner of British Summer School for residential summer courses, is a co-educational Senior Boarding and Day School. Its excellent academic, leisure and boarding facilities and its vast open spaces make this school ideal for our Adventurers of the future course.


Boys and girls are accommodated in separate boarding houses. Most bedrooms have 2-4 beds per room. Some single and larger rooms may be available. Bathrooms are shared.


  • Classes generally have 10-12 students. The maximum class size is 14
  • A placement test takes place on the first Monday morning and enables the Director of Studies to create the classes according to students’ level and age
  • Seven levels of English are available from A1 (Beginners) to C2 (Proficiency). This program does not accommodate complete beginners who have no knowledge of English
  • Teaching staff are either native speakers or have a near-native level of English. All teachers, senior teachers, and Directors of Studies are suitably qualified for the role according to the criteria of Accreditation UK
  • Our teachers teach in a communicative, open, and friendly way. They plan and deliver interesting lessons using relevant and current topics that encourage active and authentic participation from all students


Co-curricular activities

  • Practical outdoor lessons cover areas such as Backpacking, Biking, Bushcraft, Fishing, Handling emergency situations, Orienteering, Wilderness survival skills, Learning about fire, shelter, signaling, food, and water engages students with the natural world and develops their connection with our primal instincts and our innate sense of adventure

  • Co-curricular activities are available in the afternoon: Art, Board games, Cake Baking, Chess, Dance (Street / Hip-Hop), Drama, Karaoke, Origami, Painting, Yoga


This center has excellent sports facilities including extensive playing fields, a sports hall, tennis courts, cricket wickets, a floodlit Astro pitch, a fencing salle, a hard-court area, a cardiovascular suite, and horse-riding stables.

You can choose 1/2 sports between Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Rounders, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis


The course fee is fully inclusive and there are no hidden costs.
