The Adventures in English program, based at Windlesham House School, offers 20 hours of English lessons per week and focuses on outdoor learning to stimulate students’ curiosity about the natural environment. The school, founded in 1837, was the first school in the country to be established as a Preparatory School. This spacious campus, which is located in the beautiful Sussex countryside close to the seaside town of Worthing, creates a real sense of freedom and is ideal for younger students who are looking for a summer adventure.
Windlesham offers separate accommodation for boys and girls, with cheerful and spacious bedrooms which typically cater to four to eight students.
Students share their bedroom with children of the same age and from different countries which helps them to mix, speak English and build new friendships.
Bathrooms are located on each floor and are shared. Each house has a common room with comfortable chairs or sofas for students to relax during their free time. There are also some books and board games available for students’ enjoyment.
Students can arrive on any Sunday and depart on any Saturday.
